Tribute to my little street performer

Okay, so this summer in Petaluma my friend, Kellyn and I
had a little routine of eating Thai food every Friday.
Well, this one Friday as we were walking to the Restaurant
to pick up our food, we saw this guy sitting on a bench
and playing his guitar and singing. Most street
performers aren't the most talented individuals, but this
guy had an amazing voice. Walking up to him, I was
already smitten with his voice, but then he turned and
looked at me. This guy had the most beautiful eyes I have
ever seen. They were clear and blue and they were the kind
of eyes that could easily see your soul. He reminded me
of Elijah Wood, and he had this really long, curly hair
that kind of hid his face a little... like he was kind of
shy. Well, I'm pretty sure I totally blushed just after
making eye contact with him, it was just one of those
things... those spontaneous, unexpected connections that
just makes your heart a little lighter. I shamelessly
tried to cross paths with him all summer. I hope he
keeps singing and keeps making cute little girls like me
blush.

He once sang this song for me. Well, he sang this song
and I imagined he was singing it for me.
I'm a sucker, I know.

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
yeah, they were all yellow

I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called Yellow

So then I took my turn
Oh what a thing to've done
And it was all yellow

Your skin
Oh yeah your skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
And you know
You know I love you so
You know I love you so

I swam across
I jumped across for you
Oh what a thing to do
Cuz you were all yellow

I drew a line
I drew a line for you
Oh what a thing to do
And it was all yellow

Your skin
Oh yeah your skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
And you know
For you I'd bleed myself dry
For you I'd bleed myself dry

It's true
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for...
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And all the things that you do
